Food waste

Reducing food waste.

Cerve has been created to connect the complex and fragmented food distribution ecosystem with the core objective of improving the efficiency and effectiveness for all parties.

By better aligning the requirements of producers, wholesalers, distributors and operators, we are building a view of the connected world which we share back to our clients, allowing them to improve their overall ordering approach.

Using this data and insights, food ordering becomes more efficient, reducing food waste as orders become more accurately aligned to customer requirements. We are also building relationships with food waste technology providers, which ultimately gives a clear line of sight from producers through to end consumers.

CO² Emissions

A lower carbon world.

With our unique ability to offer wholesalers to maximise the efficiency of deliveries, we take a leap towards the overall goal to decarbonise the logistics of food distribution.

By matching order deliveries more accurately to operator requirements, wholesalers can plan routes more effectively, reduce the overall number of journeys and significantly impact the carbon impact of efficiently fulfilling orders.

Our Team

Both at work and at home, our team are evangelical about the environment. From delivering presentations around the world on food waste reduction, to personal commitments to electric vehicles, underpinned by a “remote first” way of working to reduce the impact of travel. We walk the walk.
